Proactive Monthly Health Check

The Smart Option support package from Audace Technology is designed to be a pro-active service.

Because we manage and deal with your network on a regular basis, we can diagnose and alert you to potential areas of concern.This allows us (Audace Technology and you the client) to plan accordingly and avoid unnecessary downtime.

Every month an Audace Technology engineer carries out a list of regular proactive checks on your server infrastructure remotely. Then, every quater an engineer will attend site in order to perform the same proactive checks. Once the basic checks have been completed, the engineer will then be at your dispossal for other ad-hoc user and network issues. The frequency of the engineer visits can be increased at any time to fit your needs.

Our regular check include: -

  • Check Exchange Mailbox sizes
  • Check Exchange database size
  • Test Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS)
  • Check Backup logs for errors or potential faults
  • Do a test restore from backup media to ensure valid backups
  • Clean tape drive to maintain trouble free backups
  • Check Anti Virus installation on the Server/s
  • Check Anti Virus installation on Email servers
  • Check Anti Virus installation on workstations if a suitable management interface is available
  • Check for available drive space on server drives
  • Check Event logs
  • Check defragmentation of local server drives
  • Analyze Performance monitors
  • Perform server software updates
  • Perform client software updates (only if Windows Software Update Services are installed)
  • Test restart of server
  • Check and delete temporary files
